We had an early dinner which was excellent. Our server was charming and attentive. The wine pours were generous and the food came out at a proper tempo. We brought takeout home for teenagers who devoured the food and expressed the deliciousness. We will be back.

On point restaurant. Everything was delicious. I do not have a lot of experience with creole cuisine but I can say everything was very enjoyable. The place is small, the bar area is very comfortable. Shrimp and grits were super rich in flavor and texture.

Locals small coastal town cuisine serving continental fare. Soon to become a locals secret spot without a doubt. They spare the hipster food & dish out actual good food. The wine list is paired nicely. Tammy, the server, seemed excited to be a part of this place. Looking for a hyper local restaurant for dinner? This is the hidden gem.

Roux Creole Rocks. This intimate restaurant is just off the main highway in Laguna Beach. The service was wonderful and friendly, we got seated right away (reservations are a good idea here). We split the Shrimp and Grits appetizer. It is a 10 out of 10. I had the catfish which is one of their specialties, very well done and presented. My spouse had shrimp etouffe. We also were able to have their award winning pie. It was great too. Highly recommend Roux.

The experience was wonderful. The service, ambiance and food were terrific. The cauliflower and fried green tomatoes appetizers were delicious. I had the shrimp and grits as my entree and the corn bread pudding as a side for the table. There wasn't anything on the table that wasn't prepared properly. Everything we had was flavorful and intentional. The cobbler that we had for dessert was good but, in my opinion, not as good as the rest of the meal. The ambiance was charming and the prices were reasonable. The service was impeccable.

We have been ordering takeout from this place since the start of the pandemic and have always enjoyed their food. We finally made a trip down to dine in. We were seated at the chef table since we did not have a reservation. We ordered the fried oyster, gumbo, and shrimp étouffée. Enjoyed all three dishes. The pickle really added a dimension with the fried oyster dish. The gumbo had a nutty flavor to it that made it uniquely savory. The shrimp étouffée sauce was very flavorful, and yet, not overly heavy. The place itself has a uniquely New Orlean feel to it. We will definitely be back!
